Daniel Craig, James Bond?
Jack Huston now 10/3 Co Fav to be the New 007
Daniel Craig has been reportedly offered a new offer of £150 million to stay on as James Bond and as a result, BoyleSports has installed him at 11/2 to star as 007 in the next James Bond film. Twitter, naturally, went mad for it, but Forbes Magazine were one of many to react and weren’t so impressed by the rumours of offer. They just don’t think Craig is worth it
The next James Bond market has also taken a twist with Boardwalk Empire actor Jack Huston the 10/3 joint favourite to take over. Huston has been supported in from 6/1 to now share favouritism with James Norton and Poldark actor Aidan Turner, both who we reported on a while back
BoyleSports like to go a bit further in their predictions. A female Bond could see Gillian Anderson swap her X Files gig at 33/1 whilst Irish actor, Colin Farrell, is 50/1 to become the latest Irishman after Pierce Brosnan to take up the role of 007.
And here’s one for the not-so-purists. Donald Trump is 100/1 should he be unsuccessful in his attempt to become the next President of the United States of America.
Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “All the support has been for Boardwalk Empire actor Jack Huston over the past few days and our traders believe that he may well be the new favourite to succeed Daniel Craig sooner rather than later.”
He added “The current Bond hasn’t ruled himself out of the running just yet and after getting another chunky offer of 150million, the current 11/2 about him to remain as 007 has already caught the eyes of some savvy punters.”
