It should be noted that is not the first time that betting on Bond has been suspended with Ladbrokes doing the same as recently as February when there were a flurry of bets on Mad Max, Fury Road star Tom Hardy. Ladbrokes report flurry of recent bets on Aiden Turner
In a new twist, Ladbrokes have reported a flurry of bets on Aiden Turner, lead actor in Poldark, to actually get the job. Hence the potential substance of the Hiddleston rumours, after he had allegedly been seen meeting Bond director Samuel Mendes and Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.
Having said all that, Ladbrokes still have Jeremy Corbyn at odds of 1000-1 to become the next Bond. In a year where Leicester win the Premier League at longer odds of 5000-1……..
