BoyleSports report that Australia have been backed in from 14/1 prior a few days ago into 7/2 to win the Eurovision Song Contest.

Russia Continue To Shorten For Eurovision Title

Boylesports Welcome OfferBoyleSports also report that Russia have further strengthened their grip as favourites to win the Eurovision Song Contest, following their performance in the first semi final. Russia are now 1/2 with BoyleSports in from 20/21 prior to the Semi Final (and 2/1 a few weeks ago) to win.

Ukraine and France suffer in betting market

As a result of these market moves, Ukraine and France, who previously were challenging to be favourite (or at least second favourite), have seen their odds lengthen. Ukraine’s odds are reported by BoyleSports  to have lengthened to 7/1 from 7/2 and France’s have drifted to 9/1 from 7/1.

Big 5 Countries Market news

BoyleSports also have a ‘Big 5 Countries’ market. They have France as favourites for this market at 1/2. Italy and the UK trail at 11/4 and 6/1 respectively. Spain and Germany are both outsiders to outdo their Big 5 counterparts at 16/1 and 40/1.

Aoife Heffron, PR Executive for BoyleSports commented “Australia came out the strongest of the bunch from semi-final 2 as punters rallied to get behind the relative Eurovision newcomers. They are the biggest mover having been cut into 7/2 from 14/1 and now pose the biggest liability to win with Sound Of Silence.”

She added “Russia continue to see strong support with punters who are taking no chances and have backed them at Even money, 20/21 and now at 1/2. Russia’s strong odds make it seem as though it’s a done deal, but the Eurovision is known to see the outsider take the title.”
