Danny and Ore Odds-On- to Win and Go

Danny Mac red hot at 4/9 to claim Glitterball Trophy

The semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing take place this weekend and with only four contestants remaining, it’s actor Danny Mac who remains the one to beat.

The former Hollyoaks star failed to score another perfect 40 at the weekend but is still top of the leaderboard and has hardened into 4/7 from 4/6 to win the Glitterball trophy.

Louise Redknapp is his nearest rival in the betting at 5/2 with gymnast Claudia Fragapane next in the betting at 11/1.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports spokesperson said “Strictly is down to the semi-final stage and at present, it’s Danny Mac who is the one to beat. The actor, who remains top of the leaderboard, was as big as 9/1 to win back in September and is now odds on at 4/9 to claim the Glitterball trophy in two weeks’ time.”

He added “Louise Redknapp has had her followers throughout the competition and despite Danny Mac remaining favourite, we are seeing plenty of interest in the former Eternal member.”

Meanwhile, TV presenter Ore Oduba remains the outsider at 25/1 to win. However, Ore also has the dubious honour of being odds-on favourite to leave this week at 4/5 with Bet 365

Claudia is next at 5/4 with Ladbrokes to be eliminated, whilst its looking unlikely that either Louise or Danny will be leaving this weekend. We’ll see those two at the finals I’m sure
