5 After Midnight 5/4 To Miss Out on X Factor Final
It’s the x factor semi-finals this weekend, but two acts are in trouble of falling short of the final, according to BoyleSports.
5 After Midnight and Emily Middlemas are both lingering along the elimination line after last week; however it is 5 After Midnight who are the current 11/8 favourites for the axe.
The last remaining group narrowly avoided elimination after being in the sing off alongside Honey G, who subsequently left the competition.
Emily Middlemas, who was a firm contender for the title at the beginning of the competition, is also in danger of making her exit as she goes into the betting as the 7/4 second favourite.
Aoife Heffron, PR Executive for BoyleSports commented “It’s between 5 After Midnight and Emily Middlemas for elimination in the X Factor semi-finals. 5 After Midnight haven’t recovered from that off key sing off with Honey G in punters eyes as they have already started to get behind their 5/4 price to be sent packing this weekend.”
She added “Emily Middlemas is a close 13/8 second favourite for the boot, suggesting it will be a sing off between the remaining Group and remaining Girl.”
UPDATED: How quickly things change. After giving an excellent performance, 5 After Midnight have now been replaced by Emily Middlemass who is now odds-on favourite to be eliminated tonight. Also, for the first time since the start of the live shows, Matt Terry is no longer favourite to win the X-Factor. Saara Aalto, so often favourite to go out in the first few weeks, is now a huge favourite to win the whole contest after her soaring rendition of Chandelier.
