Strictly Come Dancing Week One Live Show Review

It’s that time of year again, the class of 2016.

Glitters, sequins, fake tanned, waxed chests and that’s just the men!

Let’s kick off with saying that whoever dresses Claudia Winkleman definitely needs to be sacked.

Laura Whitmore, danced the ChaCha to Venus with her partner Giovanni, Laura looked stunning in white, fun and exciting dance, not bad for a first dance, a little wooden maybe too, sweet and sassy. 25/1 with BetFred

Naga and Pasha, the ladylike news presenter dancing the elegant Waltz. Sophisticated and stunning, I loved it, maybe Naga is the one to watch. 25/1 with BetFred

Will the Jury be out for the Judge… Robert Rinder, you have just got to love him. His facial expressions tell a great story, his hip movements are totally all there, the most campest Cha Cha ever. I would definitely be begging him for mercy. 11/1 with Coral

Lesley and Anton, the strictly legend. Dancing the Waltz to the theme of Birds of a Feather, nice touch.  Lesley was actually very good, elegant and romantic, thoroughly enjoyable and easy to watch. 80/1 with Bet365

Ore and Joanne dancing The Tango. A very confident walk in the park routine. A cheeky spin and original idea. 8/1 with Ladbrokes

Yum Greg Rutherford, eye candy of Strictly and a perfect partner for Natalie. Dancing the Jive, loved it. He’s a pure entertainer, a little bit wooden too by but not too bad for week 1. Good chemistry is always a bonus and a standing ovation too. 10/1 with BetFred
Show 2, Saturday 24th September, loved the opening number with the children at the beginning and the older couple before the professionals dancing.

Claudia’s clearly sacked her dresser as tonight’s show, she looks beautiful and stunning in black although the bottom of her dress does need a little attention.

Starting the show tonight is Louise and Kevin dancing a jive. Louise will definitely one to watch, with her background in Eternal. Quirky, exciting and fast Jive, they both looked like they were having a great time. LOVED IT 5/1 with Ladbrokes

Melvin and Jeanette dancing the ChaCha, colourful but wooden, could dance a little more but still a fun. 100/1 with Paddy Power

Daisy Lowe dancing the Waltz to Unforgetable, stunningly breathtaking for her first dance. 16/1 with Paddy Power

Danny Mac puts on his dancing shoes and escapes his comfort zone for the Cha Cha. Fast moving, sexy dance, very enjoyable, definitely one to watch. 3/1 with William Hill

Tameka, east meets west as her Strictly dream comes true, here’s to her pasadoble, really fun and good, she looked like she was loving it all, she owned the dance floor. 66/1 with BoyleSports

Anatascia and Brendon Cole dancing the Cha Cha, enjoyable, fast moving, they both are thoroughly enjoying their time to show off. Anatascia is an A+ performer, very natural, very hot and sexy. 50/1 with Bet365

Ed Balls ex government minister dances the Waltz, is he lonesome tonight or will he be a hit. I actually thought it was safe and sweet.

Claudia and AJ dance the Cha Cha to One Direction, quite a sweet song choice for them. Very in tune with each other, well co-ordinated. 9/1 with Ladbrokes

Last and not least Will Young and Karen dancing the Tango, seriously loved it. Will completely in character and very serious and focused. A dramatic end of the show dance. 9/2 wth Coral
